A demonstration. Hollins Park is not a real club; the film is a Yorkshire parkland course used under licence. Yours would be yours.
The Course
Eighteen holes through mature oak and beech on the edge of the Wolds, with the lake in play on four of them and a finish that has decided more club championships than anyone will admit to. Firm in summer, playable all winter.
Visitors
Book online and turn up. The tee sheet opens fourteen days ahead, the pro shop has hire clubs and buggies, and the kitchen does a bacon roll worth the drive.
| Weekday, 18 holes | £42 |
|---|---|
| Weekend and bank holiday | £58 |
| Twilight, after 4pm | £26 |
| Societies, 12 or more, with coffee and bacon roll | from £38 per player |
| Buggy hire | £30 |
Signature holes
The tee shot favours the left half; the dogleg opens from there and the green sits behind the water. Bail out right and you are in sand.
Three good shots. The second is the one that matters: hold the high side and the green is reachable, drift left and the lake takes it.
Uphill to a two-tier green under the clubhouse windows. Everybody is watching, and they know exactly what a three-putt from the front looks like.
Membership
Seven-day playing rights, a club competition most weekends, reciprocal arrangements with eleven clubs across the Midlands, and no joining fee this year.
The Clubhouse
The terrace seats a hundred and twenty for a wedding breakfast and looks straight down the eighteenth. The Long Room takes forty for a society dinner. The kitchen is open to the public from eight until eight.
Built by Forte Design
Hollins Park is not a real club. The course is a Yorkshire parkland filmed under licence; the crest, the fees and the captain are invented. Your version would be your film, your crest, your fees, and your captain. The two buttons in the hero would go straight to your tee sheet and your members’ portal.
Royal County Down. Royal Dornoch. Kingsbarns. Pebble Beach. Every one of them opens on a single photograph or film of the course, shot from the air in good light, with the club's name in a serif and almost nothing else on the screen. The interface gets out of the photograph's way.
None of them use bright fairway green. None use icons, counters, card grids or stock golfers. The prestige is in what's left out, and it is exactly what the templated club sites get wrong.
So that is the standard we build to. Your course, filmed, as the front door. A visitor tee time one tap away. Membership, societies and weddings each given a page that sells rather than a paragraph. And a design that looks like your club, not like the last club's.
Demos
We build the demo first and email the club a link. Hover the two below and the real site scrolls past; the rest are linked underneath.
What the club gets
Price
The templated golf-club bundles run £1,500 to £3,500 and every club on them looks like every other club on them. This is built for yours. We build the demo before you commit, so the committee is looking at the club's own site when it votes, not a proposal.
